Al-Ahly defender is absent from the summit match against Zamalek


The absence of Saad Samir, Al-Ahly defender, for the next summit match against rival Zamalek, scheduled for next Monday, in the 21st round of the Egyptian Premier League championship.

And press reports confirmed that Saad Samir will not be able to catch up with the summit match against Zamalek, as the player suffers from a tight connective muscle and still needs 5 more days before he is officially ready to participate in the matches.

Al-Ahly loses the efforts of some players in the summit match against Zamalek, most notably Tunisia’s Ali Maaloul, Nigerian Junior Ajay, and Hamdi Fathy due to various injuries.

While it was confirmed that Mahmoud Kahraba and Marwan Mohsen are ready to be on the list of the upcoming Zamalek match.

Al-Ahly defeated its Alexandrian counterpart Al-Ittihad, 2-1, during the match that brought them together yesterday evening, Thursday, in the 20th round of the league.

Al-Ahly will meet its counterpart, Zamalek, next Monday, May 17, in the eleventh and ten-year round of the League Championship.
