ADNOC continues its sponsorship of the historic Delma Race


The sponsors of the fourth historic Dalma Festival race are among the main partners for the success of the historical event since it came to light four years ago, especially as they play an important role in providing the requirements for success in the distinguished partnerships with the Abu Dhabi Sailing and Yachting Club.

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and the Dalma Cooperative Society have been at the heart of the event since the first edition. They are setting an example of economic institutions playing their role in society by sponsoring major sporting heritage events.
Ghannam Al Mazrouei, Director of ADNOC’s Human Resources and Administrative Affairs Department, said: “ADNOC is proud to sponsor the Dalma Dhow Bearings Race Festival, which embodies a marine heritage event for the people of the Emirates to celebrate their authentic national heritage and its historical journey full of great achievements.”
He added: “Based on its pivotal role in supporting the state’s plans to develop and advance heritage sports, ADNOC pays great attention to preserving the country’s national legacies, its culture and civilizational identity, and is keen to support activities that inform future generations of the heritage of parents and grandparents and enhance their pride in the history of their country and the culture of their society.
Hamad Muhammad Al-Suwaidi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Delma Cooperative Society, stressed that being in this great heritage sports forum is a national duty that the association performs with the aim of participating in preserving the heritage of parents and grandparents.
Ahmed Thani Murshid Al Rumaithi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sailing and Yachting Club, thanked the sponsors and the club’s partners, stressing that they play a great national role and play an important role in success.
