Active and critical cases infected with Coronavirus (Covid 19) continued to decline in Saudi Arabia, as health announced today (Friday) that 927 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded, bringing the number of recorded infections in Saudi Arabia to 431,432 cases, of which 8,551 cases are active, most of them Stable, including 1,323 critical cases, who are still receiving health care in intensive care.
While the Ministry of Health announced the recovery of 1608 cases, bringing the total of recovered cases to 415 thousand and 747 cases, while the deaths increased to reach 7,134 after recording 12 new deaths during the past 24 hours.
The Saudi Health Ministry stressed the importance of cooperation and the need to adhere to precautionary measures and apply social distancing to limit the spread of the virus.
She called on everyone to initiate registration in the “My Health” application to obtain the Corona vaccine, in order to preserve the health and safety of all community members.
For its part, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance today temporarily closed two mosques in the Northern Borders region after two cases of Coronavirus infection were confirmed among the ranks of the worshipers, bringing the total to close within 97 days 1175 mosques, 1168 of which were opened after the completion of sterilization and the completion of readiness in the framework of ensuring the safety of mosque-goers .
The Ministry indicated that 39 mosques were reopened, including 28 in Al-Qassim region, 9 in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and a mosque in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Asir regions, after completing all precautionary measures such as sterilization and maintenance.
The ministry called on worshipers and mosque employees to adhere to the instructions for precautionary measures when they go to mosques, including wearing a muzzle, bringing their own carpet, and achieving physical distance for their safety.
