“30 minutes” to enhance awareness of the importance of mental health for Ajman government employees

The Department of Human Resources in Ajman launched a 30-minute mental health promotion program for Ajman government employees, with the aim of enhancing institutional awareness of the importance of moral and psychological health for employees and to overcome pressures and challenges, with the support of specialists and consultants in the field of mental health to achieve the required balance between professional and social life.The Director of Human Resources Programs and Services Department at the Department, Abdullah Bushehab, confirmed that the launch of the program aims to provide psychological and moral support and guidance within 30 minutes, within the advisory sessions that will be provided by specialized mental health counselors accredited and licensed by the concerned authorities, and we also seek through the program to provide Attractive work environment, positive working relationships and a happy society, and enabling the employee to achieve a balance between work pressures and social life, and to contribute to raising work efficiency, increasing productivity, and achieving the desired goals.

He pointed out that the program targets all employees of government agencies in the emirate, to which Emiri Decree No. (4) of 2017 applies regarding the issuance of the Human Resources Law in the Ajman Government, its executive regulations, and their first-degree families (spouses, children, and fathers).

He pointed out that the program was launched in cooperation with a company specialized in providing advice and support in the field of mental health, and the program will provide counseling service for the employee and his family, and provide recommendations, action plan, report after each session, and periodic follow-up to the employee by specialists until the required support is completed, in addition to a report Final After completing all the required sessions, it is presented to the employee about his condition and the extent of development and benefit from the program, explaining that the employee must send a request in which he introduces himself through the work card, and clarifies the problem he suffers in order to benefit from the program.

The Director of Human Resources Programs and Services Department called on employees of government agencies in the Emirate of Ajman to benefit from the consultations that the “30 minutes” program will provide, to enhance mental health, with a total of 6 free sessions for the employee and his family at the hands of experts and specialized consultants.
