Al-Wehdat issued a statement saying: “The AFC will definitely assign the Saudi sports channel the rights to broadcast the AFC Champions League Group League matches.”
Saudi sports channels have yet to announce anything about broadcasting the matches or obtaining any rights from the AFC.
The matches will be broadcasted on the GSAlive platform, which provided a live broadcasting service for all Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Professional Cup League matches for free, throughout the football season, which is also transmitted by Saudi sports channels.
Al-Wehdat is located in Group D of the AFC Champions League, alongside the Saudi Al-Nasr, Qatari Al-Sadd and Iranian Foulath teams.
Group D matches will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 14 to 30 of April.
It is noteworthy that the GSAlive platform provides an unprecedented service, as it allows Saudi fans to watch matches from within the Kingdom or around the world through its website, or through smart phone applications.

What distinguishes the platform is that it works for free on iOS, Android and Apple TV as well, without paying a fee at all, and you do not need to subscribe like other platforms.
Under the agreement, the Saudi Sports Company obtained exclusive rights in Saudi Arabia to broadcast the main championships of the national teams and clubs in the AFC, including the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, the AFC Asian Cup 2023, as well as the AFC Champions League.
The company will broadcast all Asian competition matches through the “GSA live” platform as a first stage, while the matches will be broadcast by satellite in the last quarter of the current year 2021, with the mechanism to be announced at a later time.
