The UAE may tighten procedures with those who have not received the Corona vaccination

The UAE has warned that it may tighten preventive measures with those who have not received the Coronavirus vaccination, while its vaccination campaign is in full swing.

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority said on Tuesday that the UAE, which is home to about nine million people and expanded the vaccination campaign to include those whose ages begin from sixteen onwards, has vaccinated about 65 percent of the population eligible to receive the vaccine.

A spokesman for the authority, Dr. Saif Al Dhaheri, said: “Strict measures are being studied soon in all sectors to restrict the movement of people who are not vaccinated, as a step to implement preventive measures, such as not allowing them to enter some places and obtain some services, with the aim of ensuring the health and safety of everyone.” “Your hesitation today is an obstacle to what we aspire to, and it exposes your family, your loved ones, and your community to danger,” he added. Receiving vaccination will contribute to immunizing and protecting this community from this epidemic. ”

Yesterday, Tuesday, the UAE recorded 1903 new infections with “Corona”, bringing the total number of people infected with the virus to 500860, of whom 1559 died.

The UAE imposes rules of spacing and the use of masks in public places, and it is among the countries that witness the fastest vaccination programs in the world.
