The price of the dollar in Egypt stabilized during early trading this morning, Wednesday, April 21, 2021, with banks and exchange companies.

The Egyptian pound retreated against the leading currencies such as the European euro and the pound sterling, and diverged against the Kuwaiti dinar, and stabilized against the Saudi riyal and the Emirati dirham.

Dollar prices in Egypt

The price of the US dollar against the Egyptian pound, during the beginning of trading on Wednesday with the Central Bank, was about 15.62 pounds for purchase, and 15.72 pounds for sale, which is the same price when closing transactions on Tuesday.

In the National Bank of Egypt (the largest government bank), the dollar exchange rate stabilized at 15.61 pounds for purchase and 15.71 pounds for sale, which is the same price at yesterday’s close.

The same price was repeated without change at Banque Misr (the second largest government bank).

The lowest price for a dollar

The National Bank of Egypt (the largest government bank) recorded the lowest price for the dollar in Egypt, at 15.61 pounds for purchase, and 15.71 pounds for sale, which is the same price with Banque Misr.

The highest dollar rate

The highest exchange rate for the dollar came during early trading on Wednesday morning, at SAIB Bank, at 15.66 pounds for purchase and 15.76 pounds for sale.

The average exchange rate of the dollar in Egypt was about 15.63 pounds for purchase, and 15.73 pounds for sale at 17 banks, they are First Abu Dhabi, The United Bank, Al Ahli Kuwait, Arab Bank, Emirates NBD, Abu Dhabi Commercial, Arab African International, Kuwait National, Back , Credit Agricole Egypt, Construction and Housing, Abu Dhabi Islamic, Alexandria, Bloom Egypt, HSBC, CIB, and QNB Bank.

The price of the euro and sterling

The price of the euro in Egypt rose, during the beginning of trading Wednesday, with the Central Bank of Egypt, to record about 18.78 pounds for purchase, 18.97 pounds for sale, compared to 18.81 pounds for purchase and 18.94 pounds for sale at the end of Tuesday’s trading.

The price of the euro at the National Bank of Egypt came, on Wednesday morning, at 18.78 pounds for purchase, and 18.97 pounds for sale, and Banque Misr has a record of 18.78 pounds for purchase, and 18.96 pounds for sale.

The screens of First Abu Dhabi Bank FAB showed the lowest exchange rate for the euro in Egypt at 18.59 pounds for purchase, and 18.79 pounds for sale, followed by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank at 18.66 pounds for purchase, 18.85 pounds for sale.

The Commercial International Bank (CIB) recorded the highest exchange rate for the dollar in Egypt, at the level of 18.80 pounds for purchase and 19 pounds for sale, followed by QNB Bank at the level of 18.81 pounds for purchase and 18.99 pounds for sale.

Regarding the price of the pound sterling in Egypt, it was recorded with the Central Bank of Egypt about 21.78 pounds for purchase, and 22 pounds for sale, which is the same price with the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr.

The price of the riyal, dirham and dinar

The price of the Saudi riyal stabilized against the Egyptian pound, when opening today’s transactions at the Central Bank of Egypt, to record about 4.16 pounds for purchase, and 4.19 pounds for sale, which is the same price at the end of yesterday’s transactions.

The price of the Saudi riyal with the National Bank of Egypt (the largest government bank) was about 4.15 pounds for purchase, and 4.18 pounds for sale, which is the same price at Banque Misr and the Commercial International Bank (the largest private bank in Egypt).

The lowest purchase price for the Saudi riyal in the Egyptian exchange market came today, Wednesday, at the United Bank at 4.03 pounds for purchase and 4.19 pounds for sale, followed by Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank at 4.06 pounds for purchase, 4.19 pounds for sale, then the Arab Bank at 4.09 Pounds to buy, and 4.19 pounds to sell.

Regarding the price of the Emirati dirham in Egypt, it was recorded during early trading on Wednesday morning with the Central Bank of Egypt, about 4.25 pounds for purchase, and 4.28 pounds for sale.

The price of the Kuwaiti dinar was recorded at the opening of today’s transactions with the Central Bank, about 51.83 pounds for purchase, 52.29 pounds for sale, compared to 51.80 pounds for purchase and 52.62 pounds for sale at the close of trading on Tuesday.
