The artist, Ahmed Flux, strongly criticized the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, after the latter published a video on his own account on the “Instagram” website of the former Minister of Antiquities, Zahi Hawass, in which he says that the best person to embody the role of Ahmose in front of the screen is artist Mohamed Ramadan.
Flux wrote on his personal account in Instagram: “Artists long ago and until recently there were norms and etiquette among them, especially in works, authors and projects, masculinity, origins and correctness. It is the norms that say these among colleagues, meaning the custom of our profession with some Zamil based on masculinity, fundamentals and health.”
He added: “Manhood is literature, and the fashion is literature, and the literature of the two is the origins, the origins of art are not pickpocketing, its origins are manhood.”
Flux’s response came after the controversy, and the series “The King” was released, and the series produced for him took a decision to stop filming and to form a committee to study its content.
