Recently, it was reported that director Sherif Arafa has directed the film “Ahmose”, which he intends to present to Muhammad Ramadan in a cinematic work in 2023.

Sherif Arafa denied his acceptance of directing the film, stressing that he does not benefit from the trials of his colleagues, according to director Amr Salama.

Amr Salama wrote on Facebook: “Professor Sherif Arafa, because he does not have electronic accounts, by sending me a message that I publish a denial of the ridiculous news that he says will direct the Ahmose movie.”

He added: “Sherif Arafa does not know anything about the subject, and he told me that he is not the one who benefits from his colleagues’ affliction,” according to what he said.

Muhammad Ramadan had announced that he would play the role of Ahmose during a movie that he intends to release in 2023, after the company that produced the King’s series decided to stop work until it was reviewed.

The King’s series “King Ahmose”, is based on the novel “Good Struggle” by Naguib Mahfouz, starring Amr Youssef Saba Mubarak, Sawsan Badr, Majid Al-Masry, Mohamed Alaa, Reem Mostafa, Mohamed Lotfi, Amir Salah, Basil Al-Zaro, Moataz Hisham, And others, written by Khaled and Sherine Diab, and directed by Hussein Al-Manbawi.
