Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development confirmed that the wage subsidy program to stimulate the localization of jobs in the industrial sector will contribute to raising productivity and business quality.

The ministry added, in a statement today, Thursday, that the program contributes to providing job seekers with the necessary skills through training programs provided by “Hadaf” and “Technical and Vocational Training” to ensure their continuity in work and supply the most important skills.

Today, Thursday, the Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmed Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, announced a wage subsidy program to stimulate the localization of the industrial sector.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources stated that a wage support program was launched to stimulate the localization of industrial sector jobs in various regions of the Kingdom during the current year 2021 AD, in cooperation with the Human Resources Development Fund “Hadaf”, the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, and the Council of Saudi Chambers. .

In a joint press release, the two ministries indicated that the parties participating in this program will undertake aspects of raising the attractiveness of jobs in factories for Saudis, and provide the appropriate environment for them to join work in the industrial sector, by creating legislation and regulations that contribute to their joining to work in the sector, in addition to providing support from Before the Human Resources Development Fund “goal”, the training and qualification aspects by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation.

The two ministries indicated that the program will work through many paths to attract these jobs, and stimulate factories to raise the rates of localization of jobs because of the job creation this sector represents, whether direct or indirect.

Support for 50% of wages in the event of hiring, training and qualifying Saudis on the job will be provided by the industrial establishment, with a maximum of 3000 riyals, as well as support for female transportation through the program to support the transfer of working women (Wusul), for those whose salaries are less than 8,000 riyals, in addition To fully support the training programs provided by the Human Resources Development Fund, “Hadaf”.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development called on industrial establishments to play their role in providing job opportunities for citizens, attracting national competencies that contribute to supporting the local economy, and providing job opportunities for the sons and daughters of the nation.

She said that all industrial establishments that have a license from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources can access the special platform through the national employment portal “Taqat” to benefit from the support programs.

The plan comes to activate the Memorandum of Understanding signed between a number of bodies that included the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf), and the Council of Saudi Chambers.
