The death toll from new infections with the Coronavirus in Saudi Arabia for the second day in a row exceeded the threshold of 900, which represents the largest level since late last summer.
Today, Friday, the Ministry of Health announced the detection of 904 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours (compared to 902 the previous day), which represents the largest toll since August 30 last year.

The largest number of new infections is due to the Riyadh region (401 cases), followed by the Makkah Region (169 cases) and the Eastern Region (143 cases).
For the second consecutive day, the Saudi health authorities recorded nine deaths due to “Covid-19” disease within 24 hours, while 540 patients were cured.
The total number of HIV infections recorded in the Kingdom since the beginning of the pandemic has become 396,758 confirmed cases, including 6,737 deaths, 382,198 recoveries, and 7,823 active cases, including 898 patients in critical condition.
