Saudi Airlines and IATA agree to implement the “electronic document”

Saudi Airlines has entered into a cooperation agreement with the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which aims to test the “IATA electronic document for the traveler”, as part of the support for the safe return of international travel. On the Kuala Lumpur – Jeddah route on April 19, as guests will be able to visit specific laboratories in Malaysia to complete the PCR examination requirements for Coronavirus, provided that the test data will then be uploaded to the application for use in travel to Saudi Arabia.It is noteworthy that the document is a smart phone application that allows travelers to produce digital passports, download data for Coronavirus tests and vaccines, and share them securely, in order to ensure that all government health requirements are met at all departure and arrival points.
