Salah comments on Trezeguet’s injury with a picture … and two phrases

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah sent an urgent message to his Egyptian compatriot Mahmoud Trezeguet, Aston Villa player, on Sunday, after announcing the latter’s injury.

Trezeguet was diagnosed with a severed cruciate ligament, according to the Egyptian “Villegol” website, while the duration of his absence from the stadium was not immediately determined.

Initially, Trezeguet will miss the Egyptian national team in the first round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, which will begin next June.

And Trezeguet wrote immediately after the match through his Twitter account: “I thank all the people who asked me and I cannot answer them. The injury is not reassuring yet. I ask you to pray.”

Salah and Trezeguet led the Pharaohs team in many important qualifications, including the 2018 World Cup in Russia and the African Nations Cup hosted by Egypt the following year.

Trezeguet has participated in 22 matches with Aston Villa in all competitions this season, scoring two goals and assorting the likes of them.
