Sakani enters into 4 agreements to facilitate the ownership of the first home for Saudi families


The “Sakani” program has signed 4 agreements with a number of entities within a housing forum for the first quarter of 2021 held in Riyadh, with the aim of facilitating Saudi families’ ownership of their first home and achieving the goals of the housing program, one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programs – to increase the percentage of Saudi family ownership to 70% by The year is 2030.

The program honored a number of success partners from financiers, developers and contractors for their efforts made during the past period and their effective contributions to achieving “Sakani” goals, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail.

The agreements in partnership with the private sector included providing model engineering designs for the beneficiaries of the self-construction option through the Sakani platform in partnership with the National Housing Company. Ahmed Al-Twaijri, and an agreement with the Asayel Engineering Consulting Office, like Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Anqari, and a fourth agreement with Ibdaa Consulting Group, and the same as Eng.

The forum also witnessed the signing of the National Housing Company with the Saudi Contractors Authority to qualify and approve contractors to carry out building and construction works for the beneficiaries of the self-construction option offered by the Sakani program, and the authority was represented in the signature by the Authority’s Secretary General, Eng. Thabet Al Sweid, and from the National Housing Company, the CEO, Engineer Muhammad Al-Batti.

The “Sakani” program honored a number of success partners in the sectors of finance, real estate development and contracting for their effective efforts to provide the best services to Saudi families within various housing and financing options that suit their needs and aspirations, including the Best Bank award that Al Rajhi Bank won in the category of financing agencies for signing the largest number of Financing contracts by 29 thousand contracts during the first quarter of 2021 AD, and “Dar Al Tamleek Company” as the best financing company to sign 756 contracts during the last quarter.

The National Bank of Saudi Arabia also won the “Sakani” award as the best financing entity for residential units under construction for implementing more than 2,800 financing contracts during the first quarter of 2021, and “Al-Rajhi Bank” won the award for the best financing entity during the total and partial ban period for being able to sign more than 20 thousand contracts. Ahmed Al-Mutairi from Al-Ahli Bank of Saudi Arabia won the Best Sales Specialist Award for executing the largest percentage of financing contracts during the past quarter, and the Best Marketing Presentation Award won by SABB Bank for providing the lowest interest rate for housing finance contracts. An improvement to achieve a high level of satisfaction for the beneficiaries, and Al-Rajhi Bank won the award for the best financing entity for converting the services provided through the “real estate consultant” service into financing contracts.

In terms of the real estate development and contracting category awards, “McKion Real Estate Development” and “Retal” companies won the best real estate developer award for the “Rabbi Jeddah” and “Wassaj Town” projects, and for the contractors and consultants category, “Al-Saadi Contracting” won the best consultant award for its implementation. The largest number of projects, “Al-Khatib and Alami Engineering Consultants” won the Best Engineering Consultant award for implementing the largest number of project designs.

For the Architectural Designs category for the second phase of the “Engineering Designs” service, the Thuluth Office for Engineering Consulting (Eng.
