Princes William and Harry meet for two hours away from the cameras, raising hopes of reconciliation | around the world

A British newspaper reported that Prince Harry spoke with his brother William and his father Charles the day after his grandfather Philip’s funeral, for the first time after the controversial TV interview of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

According to the “Sun” newspaper, citing sources, for the first time after Prince Harry and his wife Megan Markle met with the American TV presenter, Oprah Winfrey, the two brothers Harry and William met with each other and with their father. The meeting lasted about two hours. The three met at Windsor Castle, away from the cameras.

A source told the newspaper: “It is very early, but we can hope that this is the first step that the late Prince Philip wanted to take place.”

According to another source, it is not known what the relatives were talking about “behind closed doors.” The source said: “It seemed that Harry and William were in a friendly conversation with each other when the cameras were closed, and it seemed that this paved the way for Charles to join them when everyone left.”

Prince Philip’s funeral took place on April 17th at Windsor Castle.

The newspaper pointed out that this meeting raised hopes that the devastating disagreement between the two brotherly princes could one day disappear.

The sources suggest that Prince Harry may remain in Britain until his grandmother, the Queen’s 95th birthday, this Wednesday, and that he may join his older brother Prince William in unveiling the memorial of their mother, Princess Diana, in Kensington Palace.

Insiders of the royal family are hoping that the July 1 celebration of their mother (Diana’s) 60th birthday, will also help ease the discord.
