Wagner Ribeiro, the former agent of the Brazilian star, Neymar Jr., striker of the French football club Paris Saint-Germain, revealed the details of Real Madrid’s attempt to sign the Seleção star.
Ribeiro said in statements to the French newspaper L’Equipe: “Real Madrid was willing to pay 300 million euros for the inclusion of Neymar, but Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al-Khelaifi replied that he would not leave even for a billion.”

Ribeiro reviewed the list of possible candidates to include the Brazilian star, saying: “Real Madrid has financial problems. Barcelona? It is worse off. In Italy? No club can compete. Manchester United or Manchester City? I do not think so.”
Earlier press reports said that Neymar, 29, had suspended negotiations with the Parisian club over an extension of his contract, which expires in 2022.
