India records a record of Corona injuries and the highest death in 5 months

            <p dir="RTL"><span style="background-color: initial;">India set a new record in Coronavirus cases, which reached 145,384 on Saturday, and the largest number of deaths in more than five months, while it is exposed to a second wave</span><span dir="LTR" style="background-color: initial;"> </span><span style="background-color: initial;">Severe infections forced Maharashtra to go into lockdown over the weekend.</span></p><p dir="RTL">The data of the Ministry of Health showed that the total number of virus deaths since the start of the pandemic rose to 168,436, after 794 additional deaths were recorded.</p><p dir="RTL">The total number of cases rose to 13.21 million, the third highest in the world after the United States and Brazil.  India recorded the largest number of injuries in the world during the last week, exceeding 100,000 for the first time on Monday, and this number continued to be exceeded four times after that.</p><p dir="RTL">The government attributed this to congestion and a reluctance to use masks, as businesses have reopened almost completely since February, only to partially close again to control the current increase.</p><p dir="RTL">Officials said Maharashtra, which has recorded the largest number of infections, has already closed restaurants, malls and places of worship and has prevented most people from moving to control the spread of the disease that has threatened medical centers' ability to absorb cases and caused a shortage of vaccines.
