The National Guidance Center for Cybersecurity revealed, today, Tuesday, a high-risk security warning that there are serious vulnerabilities in the “Google Chrome” browser.
Google issued an update to address a number of vulnerabilities in the Chrome browser for Windows, Mac, and Linux systems. An attacker could exploit the vulnerability and do the following: Buffer overflow, not validating user input.
The center recommended updating the browser to version 90.0.4430.93, as Google issued an explanation of the necessary updates, and how to update: Open Chrome, and on the top left of the screen, click “More” Help “Information about Google Chrome.
Then choose the current version number, which is the number group under the word “Google Chrome”, while Chrome will search for updates and will auto-update, and finally click on restart.
