France’s Minister of Industry, Agnes-Pannier-Ronaché, said it will probably not be renewed European Union Coronavirus vaccine contracts with a group AstraZeneca In the year 2022.

The minister said that “the decision has not yet been decided.”

“We have not started discussions with the Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca groups regarding new contracts, and we have started negotiations with Pfizer and our company,” the minister explained.

Bagnier-Ronaché was referring to the renewal of the European contract for the year 2022, a contract signed and covering the entire year 2021. The current contract provides for the European Union to receive 300 million doses of AstraZeneca, with an option for an additional 100 million doses.
