The festival demonstrated Dubai’s ability to host a large public event, with a commitment to preserving the safety and health of the attendees and participants, after last October’s session met with great demand to watch the performances of an elite of international comedian talents, such as: Jad Al-Maleh, Michael Wolf, Mo Amer, Ali Al-Sayed, Tiger, Veer Das, Gaurav Kapoor, and Mina Lision.

This year, the Dubai Comedy Festival offers a double dose of laughter, through shows of the brightest comedy stars in the world, including a group of entertainment events, live comedy, and entertaining shows that take family and friends to a world full of laughter and fun for 10 days. It will also include new paragraphs and upcoming surprises.

Ahmed Al Khaja, Executive Director of the Dubai Festivals and Retail Corporation, said: “We are happy that the Dubai Comedy Festival is back, especially after the success it achieved in its last session in 2020, which witnessed the participation of a distinguished elite of talented people in this field. The organization of this festival during 2021 comes to confirm Dubai’s leading position as a global destination for hosting events, especially as it was one of the first cities in the world to resume its economic activities and direct events with full commitment to precautionary measures and safety and public health protocols. In this festival, we are keen to strengthen cooperation and work with our partners, in order to provide the best offers and experiences in the emirate. We also encourage residents and visitors to enjoy the distinct cultural and artistic scene that the city offers, and to celebrate the art of comedy while following health and safety measures at all times.
