“Digital Financial Services” cooperates with “Lulu” to provide “contactless” payment solutions – Economy – Local


The Digital Financial Services Company, a commercial partnership between Etisalat and Dubai Islamic Bank, announced its cooperation with “LuLu Group International”, with the aim of providing secure and “contactless” payment options through the eWallet. The announcement of this partnership came in the presence of the Chief Commercial Officer of the Digital Financial Services Company, Dr. Tamer Al-Touni, and the CEO of Lulu Group International, Ashraf Ali Museliam.

Under this agreement, eWallet customers can use their balance in the wallet to complete purchases at Lulu Hypermarket, Lulu Supermarket, and Lulu multi-department stores across the country, in addition to the website. The use of the electronic wallet allows customers to benefit from a set of advantages, including quick payment of the value of purchases, secure and “contactless” payments.

The company confirmed in a statement today, that the electronic wallet is distinguished by being licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE, and it is a modern and secure platform that enables electronic payment services in a simplified manner for UAE residents through the easy-to-use eWallet application that can be downloaded on mobile phones.
The wallet also offers the ability to make electronic payments without the need for a bank account, credit or debit card, as customers only need a valid Emirates ID card and a mobile phone number issued by the UAE in order to be able to open a new account in the eWallet wallet.

Once the account is opened, customers can fill in their balance, start transfers and receive payments via mobile phones in the UAE, in addition to more than 200 countries and territories around the world, and additional services include making transfers to private bank accounts or third-party bank accounts, and completing operations Direct purchases, bill payments, mobile recharge and much more.
