The chief executive of Manchester United, Ed Woodward, resigned from the club yesterday, after a violent reaction to United’s participation in the European Super League. As a result, questions were raised about the future of the Glazer family, which owns the English club, after Woodward’s decision to leave the club.
The Irish fighter is ranked 16th on Forbes’ list of highest-paid athletes, and his fortune is estimated at 100 million pounds.
This amount will not be enough for McGregor to buy Manchester United, but he can look to partnering with another party.
