An Egyptian club announced, through its official Facebook account, its readiness to participate in the European Super League for football, a league that has sparked a crisis on the international football scene during the past few days, after the desire of many of the largest European clubs to launch the new tournament in search of a large sum of money.

Aswan Club, located in Upper Egypt, plays in the local premier league this season, and is ranked 12th on the Egyptian league standings with 20 points. The club, as a joke, published a picture that combines the club’s logo with the slogan of the European championship, and attached it to a comment in which he said: «We announce Our readiness for a new challenge, and to compete in the European Super League ».

On Sunday, 12 major clubs on the European continent announced the launch of the European Super League, led by Florentino Perez, President of Real Madrid, and the clubs are: Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus from (Italy), Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur from (England), And Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid from (Spain).

While FIFA refused to hold the tournament outside the framework of international football, and the European Union (UEFA) threatened sanctions against all clubs and players who would participate in the European Super Cup.
