Barcelona have made 3 plans to sign a contract with Norwegian Erling Haaland, Borussia Dortmund’s German striker, during the coming period.
Several reports have indicated that Borussia Dortmund and Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola want to sell him next summer for 150 million euros.
In the same context, there is a penalty clause, in Haaland’s contract extending until 2024, to be activated in the summer of 2022, according to which he will leave the “Signal Iduna Park” stadium for 75 million euros.
The Catalan newspaper “Sport” indicated in a report that the Catalan club will have 3 solutions to sign the Norwegian player in the coming period.
The first solution is to contract with Haaland on loan for a season, with the presence of a clause that allows the purchase after the end of the loan, until the end of the financial crisis suffered by Barcelona.
The second solution is to sell Frenchman Antoine Griezmann and Brazilian Felipe Coutinho to provide the necessary funds to sign the Norwegian player.
The Dortmund striker presents amazing levels this season by scoring 21 goals in 21 matches in the German Bundesliga, and topping the Champions League top scorer with 10 goals.
On the other hand, Barcelona has a postponed plan to join Haaland, but it will be more complicated, and is to persuade Haaland to stay with Dortmund for a season, and then contract him in exchange for the penalty clause in his contract.
Barcelona hopes to find a replacement for Uruguayan Luis Suarez, who moved to Atletico Madrid last summer, and Haaland is the most prominent solution.
