The Iranian Research Center said that the United States “does not have the political will to lift all sanctions,” stressing that “the evaluation of the Vienna meetings shows that America and Europe are working on implementing a path that forces Iran’s negotiating team to retreat from its basic positions.”

The center added in its assessment, which it published on its website, that “there is a conviction that has begun to form in Western countries that Iran has accepted a simultaneous return to the nuclear agreement and the routine verification of lifting sanctions,” stressing that these parties, after this conviction has been formed, seek to “force Iran to Accepting the lifting of part of the sanctions under political and media pressure. ”

The Iranian Parliament Research Center, which is controlled by the conservatives, accused parties inside Iran of providing support for this Western plan by focusing on “not wasting the opportunity” and “preventing Iran being held responsible.”

He added that the Iranian presidential elections scheduled for next June 18, and the expiry of the interim agreement between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency next June, “do not constitute an appropriate justification for urgency in negotiations.”

He explained that, “from the American point of view, Iran should implement all its commitments in exchange for its acceptance of America’s implementation of its minimum obligations,” criticizing the statements of the head of Iran’s negotiating delegation, Abbas Araghji, about returning (the Iranian-American) to the nuclear agreement “in one stage”, and “” Rapid and comfortable verification of the lifting of sanctions, adding that this position “raised ambiguities and ambiguities.”

The Iranian Research Center stressed that the real verification of lifting the sanctions “cannot be done within a few hours or several days, and the process needs 3 to 6 months.”

He made recommendations on the necessity of adhering to the “peremptory policy” in dealing with the implementation of the nuclear agreement, calling for the need to lift all sanctions related to or not related to the nuclear file, and practical verification of lifting them, before Iran returns to its obligations.

The parties to the nuclear agreement held two rounds of talks in Vienna on Friday (April 2) and last Tuesday, with Iran and the United States, to be completed next Wednesday.

The Joint Committee on the Nuclear Agreement is scheduled to meet at the level of assistant foreign ministers today to evaluate the results of the consultations of two working groups that were formed during the first round of talks on the second of this month, the first to discuss the sanctions that should be lifted, and the second to discuss the nuclear measures that Tehran should take.
