Kuwait News Agency “KUNA” announced that it referred the perpetrators of a linguistic error mentioned in the news about the death of Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth of Britain, which was published by the agency, for investigation.

This came after she published, on her Twitter account, on Friday, the news of Prince Philip’s death, including a linguistic error, as she said, “The death of Prince Philip, the wife of Queen Elizabeth II,” referring to the word “wife” instead of “husband.”

Agency spokesperson Issam Al-Ruwaih said, “The perpetrators of this error have been referred for investigation, and relevant legal measures will be taken based on the concern for the quality of the content and the accuracy of the bulletin.”
