Abdulrahman Al-Sadhan … a Saudi prince responds to the US House of Representatives and recalls Bandar bin Sultan’s statement

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Prince Sattam bin Khalid Al Saud responded to the US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her statement on the issue of Saudi Abdulrahman Al-Sadhan, recalling a video clip of Prince Bandar bin Sultan, the former Saudi ambassador to America.

The prince commented on Bandar bin Sultan’s video clip in a previous interview on MSNBC, saying: “History is repeating itself, so is there any exhorter?”

Prince Sattam added in a series of tweets on his official page on the social networking site, Twitter: “US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi describes the verdict of someone who was defending ISIS as a brutal act. Only suspicion of belonging to al-Qaeda is suspicion, without any evidence, that is the real cruelty.

He continued, saying: “The statements of the American administration and government figures are interference in the internal affairs of countries under the pretext of rights, and they are the first to ignore them if they conflict with their national security and interests. Stop trading in rights, as it has become exposed to the smallest Arab citizen.”

Nancy Pelosi said in a statement published on Wednesday that “the brutal verdict against the humanitarian aid worker Abdul Rahman Al-Sadhan, who came after his disappearance for many years and imprisoned without trial, is a grave and horrific injustice. This act continues in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s deeply disturbing assault on freedom of expression.” And the pattern of its violations of human rights, which must be condemned by all freedom-loving persons around the world. ”
