The Barcelona team snatched the qualifying card for the final of the King’s Cup of Spain for football, from its guesthouse, Seville, after beating it (3-0) in the match that brought them together on Wednesday, in the second leg of the semi-final round.
French winger Osman Dembele laid the foundation stone for “Remontada” by scoring the goal for the Catalan team early, in the 12th minute, with a shot that does not stop and does not return from outside the penalty area in the left scissors.
And the giant German goalkeeper Mark Andre ter Stegen put the second stone, when he saved his team from a goal, in the 73rd minute, by blocking the Argentine Lucas Ocampos’s shot from a penalty kick.
Seville suffered a painful blow in the fourth minute, instead of lost to the normal time of the meeting, by expelling Brazilian defender Fernando Regus.
Then defender Gerard Pique saved “Barca” in the dead time in the last seconds of the counted time instead of lost to the match, by scoring the second goal, to give his team the opportunity to play two additional games, after the first leg ended with the same score (2-0), but in favor of Seville .
Danish striker Martin Braithwaite snatched the third winning goal for “the Blaugrana” in the fifth minute of the first extra half time, to complete the “Remontada”.
Barcelona will be, in the final of the King’s Cup, waiting for the winner of the confrontation that will bring together the Levante team and its guest Athletic Bilbao, knowing that the first-leg match ended in a positive tie (1-1).
