The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) warned today, Thursday, of the dangerous repercussions of the new Corona epidemic on the mental health of children.

She indicated that at least one out of every seven children, or 332 million worldwide, have lived under the imposed quarantine policies and stay at home for at least nine months since the start of the Corona pandemic.

“Many children feel fear, loneliness and anxiety, and we must get out of this epidemic with a better approach to the mental health of children and adolescents, and this starts with giving this matter the attention it deserves,” said UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore.
