The UAE has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attempts of the terrorist Houthi militia to target the Saudi city of Khamis Mushait.

The UAE condemned the Iranian-backed Houthi’s attempts to target civilians and civilian objects in a systematic and deliberate manner in the city of Khamis Mushait through booby-trapped aircraft, which were intercepted by the coalition forces.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the UAE confirmed that the continuation and continuation of these attacks in recent times is a dangerous escalation, and new evidence of the efforts of these militias to undermine security and stability in the region.

The Ministry renewed the UAE’s full solidarity with the Kingdom regarding these terrorist attacks, standing in one line with it against every threat to its security and stability, and its support in all measures it takes to preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.

The statement emphasized that the security of the UAE and the security of Saudi Arabia are indivisible and that any threat or danger facing the Kingdom is considered by the state as a threat to its security and stability system.

The Saudi-led Arab coalition in Yemen revealed that it had intercepted and destroyed a total of 6 drones launched by Al Houthi during the last hours.

Since the beginning of this year, the Houthis have intensified their terrorist attacks, whether inside Yemen or towards Saudi Arabia, targeting civilians and civilian objects, in flagrant violation of international charters and norms, amid a wide wave of condemnations of these attacks.

Last Wednesday, Saudi Arabia called on the UN Security Council to continue to shoulder its responsibility towards the Iran-backed Houthi militia to stop its threats to international peace and security and hold it accountable.
