The Turkish lira is rising after the central decision

The Turkish currency’s exchange rate rose against the dollar today, Thursday, and reached its highest level in about two weeks, and this came after the Turkish Central Bank decided to raise the main interest rate.

And the Turkish currency was traded after the central decision at the level of 7.3545 pounds per dollar, and for comparison, the currency was traded earlier at 7.4930 pounds per dollar, and it had closed yesterday’s transactions at 7.4860 pounds per dollar.

The Turkish Central Bank decided today to raise the main interest rate to 19 percent, according to the Anatolia Agency.
