The Palestinian Museum: Jerusalem, Past and Present


The “Palestinian Museum” invites, on March 17th, to attend a virtual ceremony to launch the “Jerusalem Lives” catalog and the books “Jerusalemite Lives: On the Life of the City and People” and Jerusalem Lives. In the activity that takes place through “Zoom,” each of Salim Tamari and Omar Al-Qattan will talk, with Nahid Habibullah having conversations with them. The catalog of the “Jerusalem Lives” catalog exhibition, launched by the Palestinian Museum in 2017, comes as a comprehensive record of the artworks included in the exhibition, and provides an exploration of the present and reality of the city of Jerusalem under colonialism, as the artworks shed light on various aspects of the life and struggle of the people of the city. In light of the Israeli policies of annexation, deportation and ethnic cleansing. In this context, the Palestinian Museum, in partnership with the Institute for Palestine Studies, is launching two volumes under the title “Jerusalemite Lives: In the Progress of the City and People” and Jerusalem Lives.
