The Madex index fell by 0.3 percent at 9,230.34 points, losing 27.37 points, from its dealings in the previous session.
The Maazi index fell 0.27 percent to the level of 11338.98 points, a loss of 31.24 points.
The decline in the Casablanca Stock Exchange index came with a decrease of 10 sectoral indices, led by electricity by 2.12 percent, and chemistry by 1.61 percent.
On the other hand, 9 sectoral indices rose, led by electronic and electrical equipment, by 1.96 percent, and the pharmaceutical industry, by 1.88 percent.
The value of trading during today’s session amounted to 26.58 million dirhams, and Attijariwafa bank’s share won the largest share of 9.26 million dirhams, followed by Maroc Telecom, achieving 6.07 million dirhams.
At the end of today’s trading, the market capital reached 586.41 billion dirhams, and Maroc Telecom acquired 121.1 billion dirhams, followed by Attijariwafa bank with a value of 89.48 billion dirhams.
Macrodata led the declining shares by 2.33 percent, while Atlanta topped the list of the high shares, by 2.48 percent during today’s session.
