The spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, said, during a press conference, that the epidemiological curve of the new cases is passing through a phase of fluctuation and we are continuously following that curve and watching it carefully.
He added that the number of vaccine recipients exceeded more than 885 thousand given doses, and the vaccination centers in the Kingdom exceeded 350 centers in various regions of the Kingdom, indicating that there are no special precautions after taking the Corona vaccine, except for adherence to preventive precautions.
Dr. Al-Abd Al-Aali stated that “Those who have mild or chest allergic diseases can take the Corona virus vaccine, while those who suffer from excessive and very severe allergies do not receive the vaccine, while pregnant women and children so far must not take the virus vaccine.”
In addition, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in Saudi Arabia closed, today, 6 mosques temporarily in 4 regions after cases of Coronavirus were confirmed among worshipers, bringing the total of what were closed within 23 days to 188 mosques, 170 of which were opened after the completion of sterilization and completion of readiness within the framework of Ensure the safety of those who go to the homes of God.
The ministry stated that the closed mosques included 3 mosques in the Riyadh region, a mosque in the Asir region, a mosque in the northern border region, and a mosque in the eastern region.
She indicated that two mosques were opened, one of them in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and a mosque in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region, after completing all precautionary measures, including sterilization and maintenance.
The Ministry called on everyone to implement the instructions for precautionary measures and cooperate with it in implementing them to ensure the safety and health of those who visit the homes of God, stressing the importance of cooperation in monitoring violations and reporting any shortcomings or laxity in contacting through the Beneficiaries Service Center 1933.
