Saudi Arabian Airlines said in a statement on Thursday that it had signed a financing agreement worth 11.2 billion riyals ($ 3 billion) to help finance aircraft it requested to purchase.
The company stated in a statement that the amount covers the financing requirements until mid-2024, and will contribute to financing the purchase of 73 aircraft it has already requested.
Saudi Airlines signed agreements with Al-Rajhi Bank, Saudi British Bank, Arab National Bank, Samba, Bank Al-Jazira and Bank Al-Bilad, while HSBC Saudi Arabia provided advice in the deal.
The company has ordered the Airbus A320-NEO, A321-NE, A321-XLR and Boeing 787-10.
