The great Lebanese artist, Ragheb Alama, confirmed during his meeting with the media, Samar Yusri, on the “Youm Lake” program presented on the “Al-Hayat” channel, that the happiest moments of his life were the day of the Beirut Port explosion on August 4, when his son Khaled was confirmed.

Alama said, “On the day of the explosion, he was just returning from the airport, and he learned that the site of the explosion, which he initially thought was an assassination, had occurred in the same place as his home, and at that time he did not know the whereabouts of his son Khaled.”

He continued, “He went through the worst 10 minutes in his life, while waiting for the appearance of his son Khaled, who then appeared and reassured him of his health, to the point that when he reached his home and found him with such damage and destruction, he did not pay this disaster in return for the safety of his son.”

Ragheb Alama affirmed, “When he saw the house and what struck it, he started laughing, realizing the value of his children’s safety,” saying: “The house was destroyed by returning his important life, my son is fine.”
