Vaccination centers in the US state of New York witnessed great crowding, as people waited for hours to receive the “Johnson & Johnson” anti-corona virus vaccine, which consists of only one dose.
New Yorkers will be able to receive their dose of the vaccine at Yankee Stadium from March 4 and at the Gavits Center and New York State Expo from March 5.
State Governor Andrew Cuomo said that 95% of all first doses had already been given as of Tuesday, with more than 4.6 million people in the state receiving the first dose of the vaccine, noting that more than two million people have been fully vaccinated against the virus.
As of Tuesday, the state had recorded more than 48,000 deaths and more than 1.6 million cases of corona.
