Nasser Al-Duwailah raises an uproar by tweeting: “The Harem of Kuwait” is a major reason for the spread of Corona


Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Former Kuwaiti National Assembly member Nasser Al-Duwailah sparked a wave of controversy over a tweet on his Twitter account, in which he claimed that Kuwaiti women are a major cause of the spread of the new Corona virus, as he put it.

Al-Duwailah said: “Corona and Al-Hafiz Allah have spread, but the Kuwaiti harem is a major cause of the large number of duchess (chaos). Places) Pull her car … or give her man the dowry of a second wife and a house. ” Al-Duwailah’s tweet sparked a lot of angry and condemned comments.

The Kuwaiti government announced, on Thursday evening, the imposition of a partial curfew, which will start from next Sunday and continue until April 8. Government spokesman Tareq Al-Marzam said that the implementation of the partial ban will start from 5 in the evening until five in the morning.

Al-Marzim added that the Cabinet decided to instruct the Minister of Interior to take measures and procedures to impose a curfew in the country. The Kuwaiti government allowed the obligatory prayers to be performed in mosques on foot, and allowed pharmacies, places of selling medical supplies, cooperative societies and markets to practice their activities through delivery services only, according to the official Kuwait News Agency.
