In the second advertisement for the upcoming episode, Megan Markle said she was not afraid of the consequences of speaking out in that televised interview, saying: “A lot has already been lost.”
Megan also said that one cannot expect to remain silent if the royal family plays a role in perpetuating the lies about the spouses, according to what was published by the British newspaper “Daily Mirror”.
The interview with the respected TV presenter is expected to lift the lid on the short period Harry and Meghan spent as members of the royal family before they stepped down from life in America.
In a 30-second clip, Winfrey asks the Duchess: “How do you feel about hearing the palace talk about your truth today?” She replied, “I don’t know how they can expect it, after all this time, we will only remain silent if there is an active role the family plays in Perpetuating lies about us. ”
“And if it comes with the risk of losing things, there is a lot that has already been lost,” Megan added. The clip comes after the Queen ordered an investigation into explosive allegations that the Duchess of Sussex had intimidated her employees during her tenure as a member of the royal family.
Buckingham Palace will look into allegations of former aides who accused Megan of “emotional cruelty and manipulation,” and the investigation will review a complaint filed by one of her closest advisers about Megan in 2018.
The Times reported that Jason Knauf, then Sussex’s communications minister, claimed Megan “took personal assistants out of the house and was undermining the confidence of a third employee.”
