The Libyan boxing champion, Malik Al-Zinnad, is fighting a Belgian challenger, Timur Nikarkhoev, who comes from the Russian Chechen Republic, on March 28, in Belgium.
Malik Al-Zinnad asked the Libyan public to support and encourage him, stressing that he would oust his opponent, nicknamed “the destroyer” this time, for the sake of his fans.
The last appearance of the Libyan boxer was at the end of last July, when he shot down his Czech opponent, Ondrej Radu, with a technical knockout in the seventh round of the fight hosted by the Crystal Ball in Malta.
Malik Al-Zinad (27 years), ranked 90 in the world, has achieved 16 victories during his professional career so far, including 15 by knockout, without suffering any defeat.
While Timur Nikarkhoev (27 years), ranked 77 in the world, achieved 22 victories during his professional career, including 15 by knockout, compared to three defeats.
