After studying the recommendations received from the Corona Emergency Ministerial Committee, the Council of Ministers decided to impose a partial curfew, starting from Sunday, March 7, from five in the evening until five in the morning, until Thursday, April 8, provided that a review will be made. This decision comes after a re-evaluation of the health situation in the country.
He added that during the period of partial curfew, going out to perform the obligatory prayers in mosques on foot, and pharmacies, places of sale of medical supplies, cooperative societies and parallel markets, are allowed to practice their activities through the delivery service only, and to engage in air conditioning and elevator maintenance activities.
According to the decision, during the ban period, entry to restaurants and cafes is prohibited and only receiving orders from cars or delivery services, allowing taxis to transport only two passengers, closing all seating areas in public places, and closing parks and public parks.
The Cabinet also decided to continue preventing entry to the country for non-Kuwaitis, until further notice, urging citizens and residents to take all precautionary measures and health requirements and to stop all gatherings and meetings to limit the spread of the epidemic.
