A preliminary study revealed that infection with the modified South African virus of the Coronavirus protects humans from the rest of the mutated strains of the virus.
According to the Monte Carlo radio website, the study conducted in South Africa is still under evaluation.
But the initial research was a source of satisfaction for the researchers, as it proved that people who were infected with the mutated strain that spread in South Africa have greater immunity to confront the rest of the mutated strains of the virus.
The study was conducted by a scientific group that was behind the discovery of this mutated strain of the Corona virus. The group carried out experiments on more than fifty people who were infected with the mutated strain of the virus.
The results showed that the bodies of the people who underwent the experiments acquired immunity against the first copy of the virus, and it may be immunized against any other strain of the virus.
The antibodies generated by the mutated South African strain were found to be 100% effective against the Brazilian mutant strain.
