IATA: International flights are down 85.6% from pre-Corona levels


Today, Tuesday, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced that international flights have decreased by 85.6% from pre-Corona pandemic levels, and that domestic flights around the world have decreased by 47.4%, according to data reported by several identical media sources.

And IATA revealed a sharp drop in air traffic in China during January, with an improvement in the United States of America in the same period.

Earlier, a report by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) stated that the year 2020 was the worst historically for air travel on board African airlines. The report stated that: “Air transport traffic in African airlines decreased by 69.8% during the past year compared to one year 2019, and that the capabilities of these companies decreased by 61.5%.

He indicated that requests for travel on Afriqiyah Airways during the month of December were 68.8% less than for the same period in 2019.
