Steve Allen joined the Emirates Group 12 years ago and has assumed various operational and support roles. Since 2016, as Senior Vice President of Dnata, he oversees the company’s operations for ground handling, cargo and airport hospitality services in the United Arab Emirates. Over the past nine months, he has led dnata’s travel business and its global development. Prior to joining the Emirates Group, Steve Allen spent 16 years working for British Airways in a variety of financial, regional and operational roles.
Dnata provides safe and high quality ground handling, cargo, catering and travel services to more than 300 air carriers in 35 countries.
During the fiscal year 2019/2020, dnata service teams handled 681,000 aircraft, handled 2.9 million tons of cargo, and loaded more than 93 million meals on the aircraft, with the total value of its travel services deals totaling $ 3 billion.
