A lawyer filed an arrest warrant request for Egyptian artist Sherif Desouky, the owner of the comedic character “Sebaa” in the series “B 100 Wesh”.
The request came against the backdrop of a ruling ruling the artist imprisoned for two years and bailed out 2000 pounds and obligated him to pay expenses, after buying an apartment without paying the 250,000 pounds due from its value last November, according to the “Akhbar Al-Youm” portal.
The lawyer applying for the request confirmed that his client tried more than once to negotiate amicably with Desouki to pay the amount, but he was surprised that the artist insulted him with external words, saying: “What you have to do.”
For his part, Sherif Desouki did not comment on the matter, indicating that he trusted the integrity of the Egyptian judiciary, and accused the defendant of slandering him.
It is noteworthy that Sherif Desouki recently participated in the movie “The Pause of Man”, which is currently shown in cinemas, and the work is written by Haitham Dabour, directed by Ahmed Al-Jundi, and starring: Majid Al-Kadwani, Bayoumi Fouad, Sayed Ragab, Amina Khalil and Muhammad Salam.
