Fahd Al-Mawled participated in the victory of Saudi Arabia over Palestine
Fahd Al-Mawled participated in the Saudi national team match against its Palestinian counterpart, which ended with Al-Akhdar’s victory by five without a response, in the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 African Nations Cup.
Al-Mawlid wrote through his account on the social networking site “Twitter”: “Representing the homeland has a special taste and a different feeling. I am very happy to come back to represent Al-Akhdar, and to win the match in the presence of the beloved Saudi public.”
The Al-Ittihad club congratulated the fans for the victory, saying: “Congratulations on winning and leading the group, and the next is better, God willing.”
Fahd Al-Mawlad’s last participation with the Saudi national team was on January 21, 2019, against the Japanese team in the 16th round of the Asian Nations Cup, which was held in the Emirates.
It is noteworthy that Fahd Al-Mawled was suspended for one year from the stadiums, due to his proven abuse of doping, in order to be absent from the Saudi national team and Al-Ittihad club during that period.

The Saudi team leads Group D with 11 points, two points behind runner-up Uzbekistan, where Singapore ranks third with seven points, Yemen fourth with five points, and finally Palestine with 4 points.
