Today, Saturday, the International Committee of the Red Cross returned to his family the remains of a Saudi citizen who went missing 30 years ago in the Gulf War (1990-1991).

The International Committee of the Red Cross indicated that nine human remains have been identified, including a Saudi citizen who went missing in the Gulf War, and their families have not been informed of their families since then.

The International Tripartite Committee of the Red Cross said: The remains were identified following conclusive DNA analyzes and were matched with the Kuwait database of prisoners of war and missing persons.

The Tripartite Commission and the Technical Subcommittee were established in 1991 and 1994, respectively, to help determine the fate of the missing persons in the 1990-91 Gulf War.

These two committees are chaired by the International Committee of the Red Cross, and they are composed of representatives from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, the United States of America, the United Kingdom and France.
