At least seven students were killed after they fell from an upper floor when a guardrail (railing) broke into a university building in Bolivia, according to local media.
Four students were injured, the Bolivian News Agency (API) quoted police as saying on Tuesday evening.
The agency reported that a quarrel broke out after a group of students gathered at the “El Alto” public university in La Paz.
There were fist clashes, and the handrail was reported to have collapsed during the accident.
Emergency teams, firefighters and local police tried to help. The students were transferred to different hospitals, while the cause of the quarrel was not revealed.
