West Ham deepens the wounds of Sheffield and joins the Premier League golden square

London: West Ham United advanced to fourth place in the Premier League table, by defeating Sheffield United 3-0, on Monday, in the twenty-fourth stage.

The first half ended with a West Ham goal by Declan Rice from a penalty kick in the 41st minute.

In the second half, Frenchman Issa Diop added the second goal in the 58th minute, and then Ryan Fredericks finished scoring in the last seconds.

The victory raised West Ham’s balance to 42 points in fourth place and Sheffield’s score stopped at 11 points in last place.
