Ministry of Education: The option for “distance education” … will remain available until the end of the school year

The Ministry of Education in the UAE, in coordination with the Emirates School for Education, announced that it would allow the gradual and phased return of realistic learning for all academic levels in government schools and in the various emirates of the country And that will start from February 14, 2021 until the end of the current academic year.

The ministry confirmed in a statement that the option of “remote education” will remain available until the end of the school year, taking into account the importance of coordination between parents and school principals.

She said that the aforementioned plan was drawn up after a study of the health situation, and according to the recommendations of the competent authorities, taking into account the wishes of the students’ parents, as they are essential partners in the educational system and according to the Emirati “statement”.

The Ministry stressed the importance of adhering to the implementation of precautionary measures, taking preventive and health measures, and in order to avoid the application of laws and provisions related to this.

In the same context, the Emirates Foundation for School Education has worked during the past weeks to review and evaluate the existing precautionary measures followed in schools, and update them according to the requirements of the health situation, and the Foundation will continue to implement hybrid education for the current academic year, which is characterized by flexibility and dynamism.
